  Social media is increasingly becoming the preferred channel for communication for public health organizations. With the number of users of social media platform such as Facebook and Twitter growing daily, public health organizations have turned to the platform to reach even wider audience. The definition of social media generally refers to internet based tools that enable users to interactively share information and other rich contents like images and videos (Ventola, 2014).
